Personal Kanban
Do you feel overwhelmed and disorganized? Despite our best intentions, life has a way of becoming complicated. Personal Kanban gives us clarity in our work and our lives by visualizing those tasks helping us prioritize and complete. You can mold it into whatever
form works best for you and the work you do. Here are a few options to consider.
Option 1: Plan, Do, Check, Act shows work as it follows through the continuous improvement cycle. This can be helpful in tracking projects at a high level view.
Option 2: To Do, Doing, Done is great to organize daily or weekly tasks.

Projects Updates from April
- Travel Expenses: Business & Finance, Superintendent's office and School Staff collaborated to review and design a new process for travel expenses in order to reduce hours spent reconciling.
- Student Enrollment Kaizen: Student registration, enrollment and unenrollment processes were reviewed in September 2015. After consistently having conversations and not giving up on the unreachable, the team has succeeded in incorporating the Home Language Survey into Online Registration. Families will no longer be required to complete a separate form.
Lean Presentation at TechCon 2017
Your classrooms should reflect your high teaching standards and embody your vision of a safe, well-behaved, and hard-working environment. So how do you get there? You apply a continuous improvement tool called 5S. 5S is a 5 step method to Sort, Set in Order, Shine, Standardize and Sustain. 5S will allow your classroom to be an organized environment which helps children to be more independent and helps you spend more time on your students. Come check out the How to 5S Your Classroom session.
