July 2018 Newsletter
“The continuous improvement work is changing the culture in our district relative to efficiency, customer service and stewardship. It’s not about doing more with less, it’s about always doing the best with what we have; it’s about bringing to the table the best thinking of our entire team to continually improve processes.” -- Dr. Thomas M. Ahart

Our July Status Quo Breaker is...
Sharon Fuller, Reconciliation and Report Support in Business and Finance, is being recognized as our July Status Quo Breaker! Sharon has enhanced the training for our office managers and bookkeepers by completing individual on-the-job training and creating KITE videos. In addition, she has done a phenomenal job continuing to motivate Business and Finance to rethink how they do their processes and make changes to positively impact schools. Wonderful work, Sharon!
The Status Quo Breaker is a monthly traveling trophy recognition of an employee for their contribution to process improvement, to say thank you for being Lean and/or for helping make DMPS Leaner.
