Time to Celebrate!
49 improvement projects were completed in 2018-2019. This could not have happened without the dedication of staff identifying opportunities for improvement within processes and setting out to increase productivity, quality, and customer service. Thank you so much for being #LeanerEveryday! |

- "I would like to recognize the entire Transportation staff. This year will be my 25th year working at the district. In my tenure, I have seen and experienced many things as well as seen and experienced many changes. This particular school year has been an especially difficult one in Transportation. Staffing issues, managerial changes, and the new bell times are just a few of the issues that we have had this school year. Despite it all, we have been resolute. Yes, we have encountered our fair share of bumps along the way, but we have maintained our integrity by showing up everyday to transport students everyday, safely, to and from their destinations. We have the privilege and honor of transporting precious one-of-a-kind-jewels. These jewels ride our school buses by the thousands every single day. We consider ourselves the district's ambassadors, due to our being the first representative of the district to encounter the students, daily, and the last district representative they see in the evening. We travel millions of miles each school year getting the job done, and this school year was not and is not the exception! Bus Drivers, Route Specialists, Mechanics, Bus Associates, Dispatchers, Managers, Mechanic Assistants, the Transportation Director, the C.O.O and Central Stores all helped and worked together as a team for our students. Together, we managed to overcome what seemed to be impossible frequent and often."
