Decision Making Matrix
During Drake's Continual Improvement virtual learning on January 21, the presenter, a secondary principal, shared the matrix to the right on decision making. She utilizes this system with her school leadership team and is transparent up front which decision making is needed for the topic at hand.
This is also applicable when examining decision points within a process. What decisions can be made independently so the process can keep moving? What actually needs an leader approval? When must the process pause to allow for whole team decisions?
